Peace Rays

$110.00

Story

Peace is a significant issue for me. As one who grew up in the 60s and 70s, I saw all the authentic and deviant expressions of peace, movements that truly led to peace, and those that didn’t. Being an Anabaptist created within me a strong desire for an authentic peace that is consistent in all areas of life. The recent happenings in our world, specifically in our nation, have brought this to the fore again. So my desire is that my art might be that which encourages thought and conversations about Peace. What does it look like, and how do we take concrete steps to get there? The rays in this piece speak of God’s longing for us to experience peace and the enabling given to make it possible.
